The Brush That Made the World Dance: Book Creation & Animated Visual Story
Created and developed The Brush That Made the World Dance, a whimsical children’s story that follows a young creator named Onochie who discovers a magical brush capable of bringing drawings to life. The project blends imagination, creativity, and storytelling to encourage young readers to explore the power of art and self-expression.
In addition to writing the book, is currently developing an animated movie/visual and promotional assets that translate the story into a cinematic animated format. The animated visuals expand the narrative world of the book, using stylized 3D scenes and dynamic storytelling to introduce audiences to the characters and magical environments within the story.

Project Overview
The Brush That Made the World Dance is a children’s story about a young artist named Onochie who discovers a magical brush capable of bringing imagination to life.
For this concept, the goal was to introduce the book through a social-first video designed to feel personal, cinematic, and shareable, blending live action with magical animation inspired by the book’s world.
Instead of a traditional book ad, the concept positions the creator as the storyteller, connecting audiences directly to the imagination behind the story.
The Challenge
Children’s books are typically marketed with static imagery or traditional trailers.
The challenge was to create a short-form social video that would feel native to Instagram and TikTok, while capturing the wonder and visual magic of the story.
The concept needed to:
Introduce the creator and story simultaneously
Translate the book’s magical world visually
Inspire curiosity and emotional connection
Perform well in short-form social environments
The Insight
People connect with the story behind the story.
By showing the creator in the moment of inspiration—working in his office—the audience experiences the idea of imagination becoming reality.
The Big Idea
When imagination moves, the world follows.
A narrator introduces the creator sitting in his office. As he explains the story, elements of the book begin to appear around him, blending the real world with the magical universe of the story.
